Glow In The Dark – 3D Christmas Tree Paper Craft
At the end of the day, this cute tree can even double as a little night light and motivate us to go to bed on time?! It works for us! (…for a little while…).
How to make this 3D Christmas tree paper craft
1. Print the template! You can get the 3D Paper Tree Template here
2. Cut out the stars and use them as templates to make more stars.
3. Let your child cut the tree and cut along the inside lines of the tree. Depending on their age, you may need a little help.
4. Check that all lines have been cut!
5. Paint the front and back of the tree. Let dry both times!
6. Fold the paper stripes inside the tree to form a 3D shape.
7. Stars: We used glow in the dark spray paint that I found at my local craft store. Then we simply painted the “glow” onto paper, outlined the stars, and cut them out.
Of course, another option is to buy pre-shaped and pre-cut stars that glow in the dark!
Glue the stars onto the painted tree.
And voila! You’ve made yourself a BLACK and WHITE ornament for your Christmas decor!
This adorable pattern and craft was created by the talented Hattifant! She has quite a few printable Christmas tree patterns that she shares on her blog along with many other great printable creations.
