Making Halloween crafts is definitely fun, and when you can use them to decorate your home, turning it into a haunted mansion, the fun doubles!

You can make lots of these and use them to make wreaths.

We found these toilet paper roll ghosts to be extremely creepy so we’re going to show you how to make a toilet paper roll ghost.

You will complete this project in no time as it is really not a difficult project.

How to make a ghost toilet paper roll craft

What you need:

  • 1 roll of toilet paper
  • drag
  • brush
  • white acrylic
  • black acrylic
  • pencil

Let’s create!

Draw a ghost on a toilet paper roll. You can do it by hand or without drawing.

For young children, we recommend drawing without using their hands as this will make cutting easier.

Use scissors to cut out the ghost shape.

Paint the toilet paper roll with white acrylic paint. One coat is enough, even if it doesn’t cover the entire texture of the roll. Ghosts are transparent!

Paint the mouth and eyes with black acrylic paint. Let dry.

Draw two white pupils on the black eyes. We think this will make the ghost less scary.

You can also draw a red tongue inside the mouth.

Done! Too easy right?

You can make ghosts in different colors, maybe green and orange. There is no rule that says ghosts have to be white.

They can look even cooler. You can also add googly eyes instead of eye paint. That will make the ghost look really silly.
