If you’re thinking about all the fun that Halloween brings, these themed mix and match cubes would be perfect to pair with our other printable cube sets, such as the monster mix and match cubes or other cubes.

This spooky holiday is known for some of its most popular characters: a witch, a skeleton, Frankenstein’s monster, a mummy, a ghost, and a werewolf. And we’ve definitely got them covered in this awesome printable block pack!

Your child can combine and match the blocks in many different ways to create many different spooky characters.

You will receive 3 cubes (each with 6 different designs) in each printable pack. Kids can color the designs their own colors or you can choose to print out a color version for the game.

Ready? Let’s start mixing and matching!

Or follow the step-by-step instructions below

Start by printing out one of the templates. We chose a template to color, since we like to color things (you can get the template at the end of this tutorial).

The paper we use is 160 gsm (thicker), but if you don’t have that, you can use regular paper (you can also glue two regular papers together to make them more durable).Svg%3E

Choose your best marker and color the pattern.Svg%3E

Use scissors to cut it out.Svg%3E

We wanted sharp folds, so we used a craft stick to achieve that effect.Svg%3E

Fold all 7 edges of the paper.Svg%3E

Carefully apply glue to them.Svg%3E

It’s time to assemble the Halloween cube. We start building the cube by first assembling all the faces with “glue” flaps.Svg%3E

We left one side without a lid to glue the final part – this way it was much easier to close the cube nicely.Svg%3E

All the edges needed to be glued together effectively, so we used a craft stick ourselves to press them tightly from the inside.Svg%3E

Glue the side (the side without the lid) and you’re done!Svg%3E

We recommend waiting until the glue is completely dry before playing.
