What you need:
These materials are basic enough to make something as lovely as this Valentine’s Day wreath.
You will start making this wreath by painting a plate pink.
Draw a heart on red paper that fits snugly in the center of the plate.
Draw eyes and mouth.
Draw two pink circles for the cheeks.
Cut out the circles and glue them on her face.
Cut equal lengths of red and pink yarn and thread them into the bottom of the plate.
Take a piece of yarn and fold it in half.
Take the yarn and wrap it around the circle.
You can create a loop by threading a longer piece of yarn through the hole of the top piece.
Tighten the ring so that it sits on the paper plate. Don’t tighten it too much as you don’t want it to tear off the paper plate.
Continue doing this until you feel there are several strands of pink and red thread on the wreath.
You can trim the bottom of the yarn to make sure everything is flat.
Take a piece of ribbon and straighten it out.
Cut the ribbon nice and even.
Take the heart you cut out earlier.
Glue the ribbon to the heart.
Wrap the end of the ribbon around itself.
Stick it down on a paper plate.
It will look like this as shown in the picture.
Once the wreath is complete, you can hang it around your home or give it to someone you care about.
