How to make a unicorn paper roll craft

What you need:

  • Paper roll
  • Drag
  • Glue
  • Black Marker Pen
  • Pencil
  • White, yellow, orange, pink, blue, green paper

Step by step instructions

The Body of the Unicorn

Cut a piece of white paper about the size of a roll of paper.

Stick it on the paper roll.

Ears

On white paper, draw two triangles for the ears and cut them out.

On the pink paper, draw two smaller triangles.

Stick them on the white bars.

Then stick them on top of the paper roll.

Make sure you stick them inside.

Eyes and Mouth

Draw the unicorn’s eyes and mouth.

Mother

Draw two small hearts on pink paper.

Cut them out and stick them on your face.

Mane and tail

Cut thin strips of colored paper, longer for the tail, shorter for the mane.

Cut green paper.

We like brightly colored tails and manes, so let’s continue with blue paper.

We’ll add some orange stripes.

And a little yellow too.

Like the pink ones.

Now start gluing the tails together.

We love curling the ends of our hair to create a soft wave.

Glue the headband between the ears.

Horn

Draw a unicorn horn on yellow paper and cut it out.

Glue the horns to the back of the mane.

Unicorn grooming.

Draw 4 legs on white paper and cut them out.

Draw nails with black marker.

Color the hooves with a pencil, then glue them to the unicorn’s body.

The unicorn’s legs should protrude forward as shown in the picture.

Attach the tail the same way you did with the mane before.

Use scissors to bend the tail.

Finally, glue the tail back on.

Make sure it sticks out in front so you can see the tail when looking directly at the unicorn.

The final product is this adorable unicorn paper roll craft.

Do you like it? We sure do.

Your kids can play with it and let the unicorn jump around with its beautiful tail.

Have fun creating your fantasy creatures!

You can do as many as you want – you can do the whole family in different colors.

See you soon with more fun crafts.

Enjoy.
