There is magic in making Christmas crafts and if they can be used as decorations then even better. This particular project requires a bit of scissor skills so it is suitable for older children.

If you’re doing this craft as a classroom craft activity with young children, one option is to have them color or decorate the reindeer as they like (hint: a tassel instead of a nose would make this reindeer cuter).

Although they are used as wreaths, they can also be used as Christmas tree decorations. They can also be used as coloring pages (along with our other fun Christmas coloring pages)

How to make a paper reindeer wreath

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Print out the template. If you are printing the black and white version, color the template before cutting. This will make it easier to color.

Cutting out reindeer. Cutting around the antlers will help practice advanced scissor skills.

Punch holes (punch through the circles located below the antlers). Thread the ribbon through the holes.
The more the merrier. Continue stringing reindeer heads until you have enough.

Now all that’s left to do is hang up your beautiful paper reindeer wreath.
