Fall is the best time of year to start learning all about forest animals and how to draw them, as well as other animals. This fox drawing tutorial is one of many step by step drawing tutorials that are extremely easy to master and will have you or your child drawing beautiful drawings in no time.
We want to keep our tutorials as simple as possible to suit young children.
What you need:
Start by drawing a “valley” that is shaped somewhat like a triangle.
Draw an arc. This completes the shape of the fox’s head.
Draw along the arches on the inside of the head.
Draw the ears and facial features – eyes and nose/snout. Keep the shapes simple.
Draw a shape below the head – much like you would draw a heart, except without the top.
Draw two legs.
Continue drawing the body.
Next is the tail.
And the final touch is the tail.
There you go – you just learned how to draw a fox.
Optional but always fun: color your fox drawing.
