  • Drag

Step by step instructions

The first step to making this fun craft is to roll out half a sheet of green cardstock.

Next, you will make the butterfly’s wings. You can just draw the hands so they look like this.

Glue the butterfly wings to the green paper. You will also take half a piece of brown paper, roll it up and start the process of creating the butterfly.

Glue one end of a piece of brown cardboard and roll it into a tube.

Once in the tube, you can glue it to the butterfly wings to form the body.

You will repeat the same process to form the butterfly head!

Next, you will cut out small yellow circles. These circles will help create the pattern on the butterfly wings.

Next, you will cut out smaller blue circles. These will be glued on top of the yellow circles.

Now you will add some fun eyes! You can make your own eyes by cutting out white circles. You can draw inside the white circles and also add black dots in the middle.

Don’t forget that butterflies have antennae too!

This will help complete the look of the butterfly. As you can see, this paper butterfly craft is very easy to make and kids will have a lot of fun making it.
