Kids have so much fun making a ladybug that they can play with and enjoy for days to come!
You can even put some treats or a hidden message underneath it!
This step-by-step guide will help you make a clay pot ladybug craft in no time.
What you need:
Paint the clay pot red.
You may have to apply a few coats of paint to the pot to cover the entire pot.
Cut a strip of black paper.
Apply glue to the edge of the pot.
Start gluing the black strip around it.
Cut the piece of paper so that it lines up with the edge of the pot.
You will draw the ladybug’s head on the black paper.
Let’s continue cutting the head of the ladybug and glue it on the glitter eyes.
Draw a smiley face and cheeks on the ladybug’s face.
Take a pipe cleaner and cut it in half.
Roll up the pipe cleaner like an antenna.
Glue both antennae onto the ladybug’s head.
Next, draw six legs on black paper and cut them out.
Start gluing them onto the ladybug.
You can fold each leg a little to make it easier to stick them inside.
Glue all six.
Now you will draw circles on the black paper.
This will act as the ladybug’s point.
Paste as many points as you like.
Attach the head to the ladybug’s body.
The final product is an amazing ladybug!
You can use it as decorations around your house.
Make as many ladybugs as you like.
