This cardboard ladybug puzzle activity will bring lots of fun to your kids.
What you need:
Draw a ladybug shape on cardboard and cut it out.
Paint the ladybug body red.
Paint the ladybug’s head black.
Draw shapes on the body and cut them out.
You will want to paint all of the shapes black.
Cut a square or rectangle from a sheet of black paper.
Continue gluing them onto the ladybug’s back.
We will use them to keep the shape of the ladybug.
Make an antenna with black pipe.
Cut a smaller piece of cleaning pipe to make a smaller antenna.
You can glue pipe cleaners on, but you can also glue them directly into the cardboard slots if possible.
Draw a black line in the middle of the body.
Your ladybug activity is complete.
Children will have to match squares, circles, rectangles, ellipses, diamonds, triangles and trapezoids.
Now you can show your child how to sort shapes.
