Most of our kids (like us) go through a “monster” phase, where they’re afraid of monsters that could be lurking around the room. There are a number of ways you can help your child combat those monsters (like monster spray), one of which is to give them a friendly monster friend.

These clothespin puppets are fun and friendly monster friends for your kids. They are easy to make and fun, kids will love them.

This is Mushy, the 3-eyed mushroom monster. Silly and friendly.

How to make a monster clothes puppet

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Start by printing the template on thicker printer paper.

You can cut the full color version right away, however if you print the black and white version we recommend coloring it first.

Cut along the outline of the monster.

Next cut along the marked mouth line.

Apply glue to the clip part of the clothespin.

Glue the monster to the clothespin.

Done!

You have created a monster clothespin puppet.
