Spiders can be adorable and this Halloween craft is proof. Just look at those adorable little eyes!
Tie string to these little guys and hang them from the ceiling. What fun!
What you need:
Punch out 8 black circles using a circle punch.
Fold 7 black circles in half.
Apply a little glue to the two halves, then stick them together as shown. This will be the body of the spider.
Apply a little glue to the 8th circle.
Attach the spider body to the 8th circle.
Draw two large eyes on white cardboard (you can make them different sizes if you want). Use a circular ruler and black eyeliner to draw the eyes, then cut them out.
Apply a little hot glue to the back of the eyes and glue them to the body.
Cut 9 equal pieces from the velvet strips.
Apply some glue to the back of the spider’s body and add 4 cleaning tube pieces (legs) to one side.
Add the remaining 4 pieces of velvet to the opposite side of the body.
Take the 9th cleaning stick, then form an O shape and glue it in the middle. Follow the image provided.
Make a crease at each end of the leg. Done! Whoo – hoo!
These spiders are adorable. You can make more in different colors if you want, then hang them around the house – we recommend using yarn for this.
You can also attach wooden sticks to them and place them in a basket filled with snacks.
That’s it for today. Stay tuned for more crafts!
