Making monsters and vampires is fun, but bats are a fun part too!
We love doing paper balloon strip projects (have you seen our paper cat?) and these little bat balloons would make the most amazing DIY Halloween wreath at your home or as a classroom craft project.
Are you ready to do it yourself?
Let’s start crafting!
How to Make Paper Crafts/Halloween Wreaths
What you need:
- black paper – we use regular black printing paper
- scissors (and/or paper cutter)
- glue
- Wiggle eye patches / wiggle eyes (or white paper and black marker)
If you are making this craft for class, we highly recommend using a paper cutter as you will have a lot of paper strips in no time.

Or follow the step-by-step instructions below
Cut strips of paper. You will need 4 strips for each bat.
We cut them to the width of a regular sheet of paper (letter/A4 size) and they are about a “finger” wide.
No need for exact measures.
Glue two strips of paper together at right angles (forming a cross).
