Foxes are a popular theme during the fall season and mosaic art is a fun project to do. You can provide torn paper for children or let them tear it themselves, this is a great process that most children enjoy.

How to make a paper fox craft

What you need:

  • black construction paper (or other)
  • orange paper
  • white paper
  • a little black or brown for the nose
  • eye patches or googly eyes (or make paper eyes)
  • glue
  • white chalk

Step by step instructions

Tear paper, both orange and white. Can tear into many different shapes and sizes.

You will need quite a bit but you can always add more as needed.

Sketch out the fox (see video for detailed drawing). Start with a half circle for the body. Draw a triangular head with two triangles for ears on top. Add two arcs inside the head. Draw a tail.

Apply glue to one of the parts…

…and stuff it with torn paper.

Continue with the next section until complete.

Add nose and eyes.

Done! Paper Collage Fox Craft is ready to display.

Isn’t that sweet?
