Paper Collage Fox Craft is a perfect mini fall art project for your art class.

It’s a great way to recycle all that scrap paper from various arts and crafts projects, and is a fun and easy way for kids to learn how to draw a fox.

Foxes are a popular theme during fall and mosaic art is a fun project to tackle. You can give the torn paper to the children or let them tear it themselves, which is a wonderful process that most children enjoy.

How to make Fox Craft with collage paper

What you need:

  • black construction paper (or other)
  • orange paper
  • White paper
  • a little black or brown for the nose
  • eye patches or googly eyes (or make paper eyes)
  • glue
  • white chalk

Step-by-step instructions

Tear off the paper, both orange and white. Different shapes and sizes are welcome.

You’ll need quite a bit but you can always add more if needed.

Draw a sketch of the fox (watch the video for detailed drawing). Start with a half circle for the body. Create a triangular head with two triangles for ears on top. Add two arches inside the head. Draw the tail.

Apply glue to one of the parts…

…and fill it with torn paper.

Continue with the next section, until everything is full.

Add nose and eyes.

All has been done! Fox Craft paper piecing is ready for display.
