This is another lovely and simple paper ladybug craft, we made this paper ladybug craft a while ago but since making paper crafts is so much fun it was time to make another, different one.
After all, this cute little bug deserves more attention, right?
Ready to make these cute little creatures? Let’s make them together.
Ladybug Paper Craft
What you need
- red and black paper (and a little white)
- drag
- glue
- black marker
Cut a circle from red paper (it’s best to use cardboard as a base). Cut strips of red paper.
Take one strip of paper and glue it to the base as shown. Glue the next strip at a 90° angle to the first strip.
Continue with the next two, placing them between the first two. Depending on the size of the ladybug you are making, you will need, or rather can, add more strips of paper to make the ladybug’s body fuller.
Cut dots (we used the glue cap as a template) out of black paper. Also cut a semicircle for the head and two antennae. Cut two small ovals out of white paper and draw eyes with a black marker.
Glue the dots and ends together.
More cute ladybug crafts
Do you like these cute little bugs? Why not make some leaf ladybugs, a fun nature craft to make. Or some super simple fingerprint ladybugs. Or collect some rocks and make a rock ladybug.
Show your kids this tutorial and let them add their personal touch to the bugs they make.
We love seeing what fun creations your kids come up with.
Using a circular paper punch to create the dots will make this craft easy.
While we love red ladybugs, remember they come in a variety of colors, so why not let your child make a red, orange, pink, or even black ladybug.
