We love paper plate crafts and we love cupcake liners crafts so we combined those two fun materials and made paper plate & cupcake liners!
Both paper plates and cupcake liners are fun for all ages!
Let’s make paper plates and cupcake liners!
You will need:
- 1 or 2 paper plates
- cupcake liners
- color
- glue
- black marker
If you have white paper plates, you can color them first because the fish will be much more colorful! You can also color the cupcake liners (just make sure the color isn’t too “wet”).
Cut a triangle out of the paper plate (1/6 or 1/8). The triangle will be used as the tail and the opening will be the mouth.
Cut the cupcake liners into quarters (or fifths, sixths, etc.) and start gluing them onto the paper plate. We’re doing the scale! Leave the front part of the fish without scales! Using a black marker, draw an eye on the fish (you can also cut an oval out of white paper and draw a black dot there to make the eye stand out even more).
Glue the tail and fins!
