This is a relatively easy craft but can also be challenging for children to do on their own.
You can do crafts with your children or let them do it themselves.
How to make mole-shaped paper plates
What you need:
- drag
- paper plate
- paint brush
- acrylic paint (green, blue, yellow and brown)
- colored paper (gray, pink, beige and white)
- pencil
- glue
- handmade sticks
- ice
- marker (black and yellow)
Step-by-step instructions
Paint the bottom of the paper plate green.
Paint the top of the paper plate blue.
Go ahead and cut out the mole template.
Draw the pattern on construction paper of the correct color.
Draw the belly and legs on butter-colored paper and cut out.
Now draw the nose on pink paper and cut it out.
Glue the nose.
Now glue the belly and legs to the body.
Draw the eyes and mouth.
You can use a pencil and mark it with a marker.
Then apply glue or tape to the craft stick.
Paint a mole (mound) on the grass with brown paint.
Paint the sun with yellow paint.
Draw small flowers on white paper.
Cut them out and color in the middle with a yellow marker.
Stick them on the grass.
Draw birds in the sky with a black marker.
You can add as little or as much as you like.
Cut a horizontal line in the dirt pile where the mole will fit.
Test to see if the opening is wide enough for your mole.
Slide the mole puppet through the slot.
Your mole paper plate craft is complete.
