It’s monkey time! Let’s make a paper plate monkey craft, it’s fun and super cute!
We have made a lot of animal crafts from paper plates because paper plates are so handy for crafts!
We really wanted to create something unique here and I think we did – this project has enough crafting techniques that you could even turn it into a group project for the kids!
For this craft you will need:
- two paper plates
- brown paper
- beige paper
- glue
- drag
- pencil
- black marker
Paint a paper plate brown. Leave one plate whole and cut the other, cutting off the edges and leaving the ears (you can also glue the ears on). Glue the paper plates together.
Ask your child to draw his hand on brown paper and cut out the handprint. Cut out the monkey face and draw facial expressions. Let’s make a silly monkey!
Cut 4 strips of brown paper for the legs and arms and a strip of swirly paper for the tail. Glue them all together and you’re done!
Of course you can add bananas!
