This pop up card doesn’t require much skill so it’s great for kids to make as they can easily do it themselves.

How to make a simple peacock pop up card
What you need
- blue paper (plain printing paper)
- green construction paper
- yellow construction paper
- white construction paper
- drag
- glue
- marker, pencil
- craft stick

To make the peacock tail, we need to fold the paper in an accordion style.
It’s best to make the folds as sharp as possible, so score them as you go – we’ll just use a craft stick to do this.
Fold the paper all the way to the end.
Fold it in half. Place a piece of blue paper in the middle.
Sketch out your peacock shape.
Cut out the body of the peacock.
Glue the peacock body onto the folded paper as shown below.
Apply glue to the other half of the folded paper, fold them together (with the peacock body inside) and press firmly to set the glue (we used a clamp).
Cut a beak out of yellow paper and glue it onto the head.
Draw eyes (or use moving eye stickers).
Fold a piece of paper in half.
Cut out peacock legs from yellow paper and glue them to the paper as shown below.
Apply glue to the folded green paper.
Glue it inside the folded paper.
Press down.
Your peacock pop up card is complete.
