We’re all fruit lovers here at Easy Peasy and Fun (and really veggie lovers). A printable fruit craft has been in the works for a while and we’ve finally finished it.

You can make this paper fruit without using a template, we just thought it would be more fun to provide a “pre-colored” and colorable version.

You can make these on regular printer paper if you use the pre-colored version, but we recommend using thicker paper if you’ll be using crayons to color the fruit, as the crayons tend to bleed through and wrinkle the paper.

Color the fruit. We recommend using 8 layers of fruit for this craft.

If younger children are making this craft, they can also use less (or more if they want).

Cut off the fruit (and leaves if you like).

Some of our patterns also include leaves that you can use in your craft. Leaves are a little trickier to work with so if young children are doing this craft, skip the leaves.

Fold all the fruit in half – colored side up.

Mark the folds to make them crispier. We use craft sticks – easy for kids to use and inexpensive (perfect for larger groups).

Glue the fruit slices on top of each other (stacked).

Once you have glued them all on top of each other, apply glue to the last slice, open the fruit, and glue the last slice to the first slice.
