Penguin Footprint Craft

This cute project would make a fun gift for family and friends.

This penguin footprint craft is quick and easy to make.

This is a simple winter craft that you can do when it’s freezing outside and you’re stuck indoors. If you have young children, this is a project that you can do mostly yourself, but if you have older children who can do it themselves, you can be sure that they’ll love getting their feet dirty – you can let them make lots of fun black and white footprints (you know, the dirtier the merrier) and turn the best one into a keepsake penguin.

##Penguin Footprint Craft

Materials needed

  • White construction paper
  • Black, orange and white craft paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Googly Eyes
  • Glue

Instruct

Paint the soles of your child’s feet black. It’s so funny, your child laughs. I can imagine that tickles like crazy!

Press the leg down onto white construction paper. Make as many prints as you like. Each print will be a penguin body. Let dry.

Paint a white oval in the middle of the footprint for the body. Add an orange beak and some black wings.

Glue the eyes in place. Decorate as desired! Name and date your masterpiece!
