How to make pipe cleaning finger puppets

What you need:

  • 3 pipe cleaners
  • 1 large fluffy pompom
  • 1 medium sized pompom
  • 4 small balls
  • 2 divine eyes
  • 5 feathers (optional, choose not tested on animals)
  • 5 wooden beads
  • hot glue gun (adult assistance required) – or low temperature glue gun if young children are doing this on their own
  • pencil

Instructions step by step

Apply a little glue to a medium sized pompom…

Step 2-1

…and put on the big fuzzy hat.

Now, put some glue on two small tassels and place them on the medium tassel, side by side.

That would be the eyeball.

Next, put some glue on the fake eyes and attach them to the eyeballs.

Create a spiral around the pencil with a chenille stick, then cut the spiral in half with scissors.

Apply a little glue to each end of the spiral…

…and place them on the back of the head facing up as if they were bunny ears.

Then add a little glue to the remaining two furballs…

…and place them on top of the lace spirals.

Place a feather trough in each spiral and seal with glue.

Add two more feathers in the middle and seal with glue, then place a feather in front of the middle feathers and seal with glue.

…then glue that spiral onto the medium-sized pompom as if it were a neck.

Take the remaining pipe cleaner and form two pretzel-like circles around your index and middle fingers.

… and sealed with glue.

Weave the wooden beads over the two chenille halves, then twist the rest of the chenille halves into a circle.

Apply a little glue on the spot inside the spiral neck.

Press with your finger and hold until dry.

Now glue the end of the spiral beyond the lower bead.

Let dry.
