Popsicle Stick and Twigs Christmas Tree Ornaments

Have you got your Christmas tree ready? Make some beautiful popsicle sticks and twigs to decorate your tree (or your home).

Making Christmas decorations together is creating memorable memories ;).

Christmas tree decoration with popsicle sticks and branches

This is a very fun craft and you really don’t need much… So what will you need

  • handmade popsicle sticks
  • branches and twigs
  • white school glue
  • drag
  • wool
  • sequins or other decorations

You can start by taking a nice walk in nature and collecting all sorts of twigs. If the twigs are not dry, dry them first (you can dry them on low heat in the oven).

Cut the branch into pieces of varying lengths, using scissors if possible.

Apply a generous amount of glue along 3/4 of the popsicle stick. Start gluing the broken branches starting with the smallest branch at the top, adding larger branches all the way to the bottom. Allow to dry completely.

Glue yarn to the back if you want to hang this pospicle stick tree ornament.

You can leave it as is or decorate it with sequins, tassels or anything that makes your popsicle stick and branch Christmas tree ornaments look more festive.
