If you want to get your kids involved in crafty art, one of the easiest (and super fun) projects you can do is create stamping art using a potato masher.
This activity is suitable for all ages but is especially fun for young children. You can easily do this art activity with your toddler; Stamping is a fun process and the activity doesn’t require many fine motor skills.

This stamping art can be done with one child as well as in larger groups (adult supervision is always required for younger children).
What you need:
Paper plates come in really handy for projects like this, especially if you don’t have a tray for this purpose.
Pour paint into tray or plate. You can work with one type of paint or use a variety of colors.
We recommend less paint if you’re working with a child and more paint if you’re working with a larger group. This will prevent paint from being wasted.
Eco-friendly tip: if you use paper plates, apply paint to the entire paper plate when finished. You can use painted paper plates to make fun paper plate crafts with your kids later.
Dip the potato masher in the paint. If you have a larger group, you can use a grinder with a paint.
Prepare paper fabric.
Have your child choose a color and/or potato masher and stamp it on the paper.
They can stamp once or they can print more copies.
Use another potato masher or dip the same potato in another color and start stamping.
The different shapes make this activity so much more fun.
If you have another shape, use it to create even cooler patterns.
After completing the stamping, let the paint dry.
With thousands of crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing guides to print, you’ll always have the resources you need at hand. Perfect for both parents and teachers!
