Printable Bugs Quiet Book – Activity Book for Pre-K and K

It’s time to learn and these fun bugs are here to help. Print out our printable bug quiet book, a perfect companion to our spring quiet book, and get learning started.

You can print all the activities and bind them into a fun learning book like we did (perfect for revision) or you can use the activities individually. The pages can be laminated or you can use page protectors as an easier alternative (although you will still need to laminate the smaller sections).

What do you need to make this error book work?

Print out all the pages you will be using. Laminate and Velcro (we have simple assembly instructions printed on most sheets).

Ladybug shape

Six basic shapes need to be assembled. Each ladybug (ladybugs are super cute) holds a sketched shape in their hand, assemble them.

Spider web clock

One of our favorite activities in this book – master telling time to 5 minutes. Clock hands on this one!

Place the number boxes into the digital clock at the bottom and place the clock hands in the correct position.

Fun, right? You can adjust the difficulty by removing certain boxes – for example, only have your child practice telling time by the hour or by the half hour.

Flower color scheme

Color matching.

Snails can recognize numbers up to 10.

Match the snail houses with the correct snail, look at the number in the ten box and place the correct snail house on top. We also have an activity page about identifying the number of ladybugs in the pack.

Tell the Time with a Caterpillar

Combine analog time with digital time.

Error match

Put the two halves of the beetle together.

Lowercase and uppercase letters

Match the letters.

Complete the beetle pattern

What’s next? Look at the colors of the balls and complete the pattern.

Half Butterfly

Look at the patterns and colors of the butterfly wings and match them together.

Shape fit

Observe the shapes of the bugs and arrange them in the correct order.

What rhymes with

Match the errors and find the opposite
