These adorable printed rings are really easy to make and fun to wear.

The festive characters included in this set are Santa Claus, reindeer, snowman and Christmas tree.

This time we made them in 4 different sizes, so they will suit a variety of ages (also great for family crafting sessions).

If you are having a Christmas party at school or at home, this is a great project to keep the kids busy.

This product also comes in a black and white version for kids to color themselves and a pre-colored version for use.

How to Make Printable Christmas Paper Rings for Kids

What you need:

  • our printable templates
  • thicker printing paper (regular printing paper is best)
  • drag
  • colorizer if you are printing the black and white version.

Step by step instructions

Print out the form.

We recommend printing on thicker cardstock/printing paper as the rings will be more durable this way, but regular printer paper is fine too.

Also, since printers are custom designed, different printers may print slightly different sized rings, so it’s best to experiment with printers and ring sizes if you plan on making larger quantities of copies (for a class).

If you print the black and white version of our template, the first thing to do is color the rings.

You can use markers, crayons, glitter pens… Whatever coloring material your child feels most comfortable with.

Once you’re done coloring or if you printed out a pre-colored version, cut out the rings.

There is a small dashed line next to the head (on both sides), extending to the middle of the design.

Cut along that line to create the slits.

Twist the paper to fit the two halves together and push one slit into the other.

The tip should line up straight, if not you may need to cut along the dashed line a little more.

Done! You have made your Christmas paper ring.

Are they the sweetest things?

All you need to do is slip the ring on your finger and wear it proudly.

Make them all, because wearing four is definitely more fun than wearing one.

Happy crafting!
