Want to make the cutest card this year, one that brings joy to everyone? Well, this snowman will never melt, but it will definitely melt hearts.
You can make it with cotton or tissue paper. You can decorate it with paper buttons, scarves and carrot noses that you can find on our pattern or you can use real buttons and other accessories.
What you need:
Print out our snowman card template and color the buttons, scarf and nose.
Cut out the snowman template and accessories.
Also, crop the photo. You can also ask your child to draw a self-portrait here.
Stick the photo in the designated location (it is best to use glue because it will not wrinkle the photo).
Fold along the dotted lines.
If you are using large cotton balls, tear them into smaller pieces.
Roll them between your hands to form smaller “cotton balls”.
Make a little more. Alternatively, you can also use tissue paper, crumpled into small balls.
Apply glue to the card. We start by applying glue around the photo.
Glue cotton balls to card. Add more glue as needed.
Next move on to the body.
Cover it with cotton.
Add details, glue the scarf and stick it on the snowman.
Do the same with the buttons.
You can stop here or you can also add a carrot nose to the photo.
Done!
All you need to do is write a personal message inside the card.
And give to family and friends.
