Raffia Wrapped Pumpkins {Pumpkin Crafts for Kids}

Pumpkin! Let’s make a pumpkin wrapped in raffia! This craft project is great for kids and adults because it also creates a pretty whimsical fall decor.

What’s really great about this craft is that you’ll finish it in no time, so it’s perfect for beginner crafters as well as those who aren’t brave enough for long crafting sessions.

Directions:

Using raffia, wrap the wooden circle once and hot glue it to hold. Continue wrapping the circle. I wrap about 3-5 times before changing direction. Occasionally, you may need to add a little hot glue to the back of the circle to keep the bristles from slipping. When satisfied with your finished project, re-glue with hot glue and cut the raffia.

Make pumpkins

Cut the pipe cleaner in half. Wrap around a pencil or other cylinder to form a spring.

Use green felt to cut into tree trunk shapes.

Attach the stem and pipe cleaner string to the back of your pumpkin..
