We are back with another cute corner bookmark design idea (a perfect idea for spring and Easter), this time we will make a cute little lamb corner bookmark.
This idea was a little hard to come up with, but I think this sheep craft idea turned out pretty well. Are you ready? Let’s fold a DIY corner bookmark!

Have you or your kids ever made a corner bookmark? They are addictive and definitely one of the best origami projects for kids to start their folding adventures with. We love how easy they are to make and the variety of decorations they come in!
We made a cute bunny and chick corner bookmark set, so a lamb was a must! You can see our entire (growing) collection of origami bookmarks at the end of this post. There are plenty of ideas to inspire you and your kids.
This sheep craft idea was one of the most challenging, design-wise. With our other designs, the natural triangular shape of the bookmark was able to be incorporated well into the final result, whereas the sheep design just didn’t work that way.
So it took some thinking outside the box, beyond the triangle, and I actually think it worked. Not to mention it came up with a lot of new design ideas!

Sheep Corner Bookmarking Guide
To create a bookmark, you will need the following:
- green origami paper
- white paper
- black paper
- drag
- glue
- tick
Optional:
We really think punching holes and labeling would make this project a lot more fun for kids.

Or follow this step-by-step folding tutorial to make a corner bookmark
Take a green sheet of origami paper and fold it in half (diagonally).
Wrinkles.
Fold it in half again, pressing only the bottom of the triangle. This is the center mark.
This will make the next steps a little easier.
Open up to get the first triangle.
Grab a piece of paper at the top of the triangle. Fold it down towards the bottom. You should see a white square form.
Run your finger gently over the crease a few times.
Take the left or right corner of the triangle and fold it to the middle.
Move your finger over the crease.
Repeat with the other side.
Open to return to the triangle with the white square.
Now fold another corner, this time towards the top of the triangle.
Wrinkles.
Now take that corner and tuck it inside the pocket you just created.
Repeat with the remaining corner.
Your sheep corner marker base is complete! Now let’s start making the sheep!
Let’s be sheep
Cut out a soft, round lamb body from white paper.
We used a circle punch to make this product!
Cut two strips of black paper for the legs and glue them to the white body circle (on the back).
Cut out the head shape with black paper.
Cut out two ears and glue them to the head.
Glue the head to the sheep’s body.
Add the eyes. You can cut them out of white paper and draw dots with a black marker or you can use vibrating eye stickers like we did.
Glue the sheep shape to the bookmark base in the corner.
And your sheep corner bookmark is done!
