Need a fun spider craft to go with a spider-themed book? This is perfect! These are adorable and coming from someone who is super scared of spiders! Hang them on the front of a picture frame for seasonal decor, add them to your mantel, hang them across as a banner.

Materials: Embroidery hoops in various sizes (shown 4.25 inch diameter and 3.25 inch diameter) White embroidery floss (do not separate threads) Black pipe cleaner Black Pom Poms Fake eyes Child-safe glue gun
Here it goes; Take your embroidery hoop apart and wrap white embroidery thread around it. Hot glue if needed. Reassemble your embroidery hoop and tighten the screw. (I did not use hot glue).
Wrap white floss around the ring in all directions, alternating frequently to create a spider web pattern. When you are happy with the result, apply a little hot glue to the back of the ring and cut the floss.
To make the large spiders: Use 2 toothpicks and cut them in half. Fold the ends in to form legs. Hot glue the four pieces to the bottom of the pom pom. Add google eyes if desired.
To make a smaller spider: Fold a toothpick in half and cut it into four equal pieces. Fold the ends together to make legs and glue them to the bottom of the pom pom. Add eyes with hot glue.
To assemble: You can glue the spiders to the web, or just place them on it, which is what I did.
