How to Make a Space Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft

What you need:

toilet paper roll (or kitchen paper towel roll or other)
black paint
black and blue tissue paper or napkins (or you can also use newspaper and paint for a recycling project)
paint brush
single hole punching machine
glue
thread to hang
yellow paper or yellow paint
star hole punch (optional, you can also paint the stars)

Step by step instructions

Start by painting a toilet paper roll (or other object) with black paint.

Let the paint dry. When the paint is completely dry, punch two holes, one horizontally, in one side of the roll.

Thread the yarn through the hole.

Knot.

You can let your child color the stars on their roll of paper or, which is fun for them, let them use a star punch to punch stars out of yellow paper.
