Tape proof snowflake art for kids is one of the easiest winter art ideas you can make with kids. This project is suitable for toddlers, preschoolers, preschool-aged children, and older adults, although you will need to record yourself if working with younger children. It’s a fun game and can get a little messy, which the kids will thoroughly enjoy.

The winter months mean more time at home so there’s plenty of time to do winter crafts and various art projects. It’s all about snow and snowflakes, so use our templates to make paper snowflakes or create cute winter hats in addition to this art project!
What you need:
If you are working with younger children (toddlers and preschoolers), you will need to apply the tape yourself.
Start by creating snowflakes using tape. You can use canvas or white construction paper as the background for this project. Start by adding tape in the center of the canvas.
Next add two diagonal strips of tape.
Cut the tape in half (or use thinner tape) and stick them on the canvas, creating a snowflake shape.
Once you or your child is satisfied with the shape of the snowflake, it’s time to move on to the next step.
Your child can use a regular brush, sponge brush, or even their finger to paint the spaces on the canvas. They can paint it one color or choose more colors.
Rotate the brush to create circular shapes.
Now paint it a lighter blue and add some dots.
Continue with the lighter blue.
Fill the entire paper around the tape.
It’s time to peel off the tape.
Pull them out gently.
Anti-snowflake ice art is complete!
You can make many snowflakes by mixing different tones and applying different tape to create unique snowflakes.
This snowflake will look great wherever you place it.
With thousands of crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing guides to print, you’ll always have the resources you need at hand. Perfect for both parents and teachers!
