How to make snowflake art with tape for children

What you need:

  • White paper
  • tape (washi tape or masking tape is best)
  • tempera paint/watercolor paint (three shades of blue)
  • paint brush

Step-by-step instructions

If you are working with younger children (toddlers and preschoolers), you will need to apply the tape yourself.

Start by creating snowflakes using tape. You can use canvas or white construction paper as the background for this project. Start by adding tape in the center of the canvas.

Next add two diagonal strips of tape.

Cut the tape in half (or use thinner tape) and stick them on the canvas, creating a snowflake shape.
