How to make toilet paper roll Santa pants
What you need:
- drag
- glue
- two rolls of toilet paper
- colored paper (red, yellow) or paint
- black paper
- White paper
Step-by-step instructions
You will need two rolls of toilet paper to make this fun craft.
Wrap a piece of red paper around it and seal it with glue. You can have your child paint the toilet paper roll with red craft paint.
Tip: you can also have your child paint an old newspaper or other paper with red paint and wrap it around the roll.
Repeat this step with the second roll because you need two rolls to make the pants.
Have your child cut a strip of white paper and tape it around the bottom of the roll.
Repeat this step with the second roll of paper.
To create Santa’s pants, apply a strip of glue to one of the paper rolls from top to bottom.
And glue the rolls together.
Tip: the glue will take some time to set, we recommend using a clothespin to hold the two rolls together while the glue dries.
Santa’s pants need a belt, so let your child cut a wider strip of black paper.
Apply glue to the paper strip and wrap it around both rolls of paper.
Belts also need to have buckles.
Cut a small rectangle from yellow paper, fold it in half and cut out the inside to get the yellow “frame”.
Apply glue to the buckle and stick it to the belt.
Santa’s pants need suspenders, so ask your child to cut two wide strips of red paper and glue them to the ends.
Then stick it inside the pants – one end should be on the back inside the roll, and the other end on the inside front.
Repeat the process with another red strip.
The hanging wires overlap each other in the center.
Do you see the cross position on the inside back?
We love how these toilet paper roll Santa pants turned out!
Wishing you successful manufacturing!
