We have lots of Animal Crafts for kids that you can make (check out our Llama Puppet Crafts or make Paper Dog Scroll Crafts).
This project is perfect for kids of all ages and it’s a great way to teach them about snakes while encouraging their creativity and crafting skills.
A few fun materials are all you need to make a scroll snake.
What you need:
Cut out the template.
Draw the snake’s head and tail on green paper and cut it out.
Draw the face on yellow paper and then cut it out.
On white paper, draw eyes and then cut them out.
Draw the tongue on red paper.
Go ahead and cut it out.
Cut the blue paper along the roll to get the right size.
Stick the piece of green paper onto the roll.
Take the yellow paper and stick it to the green tube.
It’s time to start putting the face together.
Keep your eyes on the snake.
Now you can draw the nose and mouth.
A small piece of red paper will be good for the tongue.
Draw a funny design on the snake’s tail.
You can design the snake’s tail as you like.
Make sure everything sticks together.
Continue gluing the snake’s tail to the back of the body.
You can continue designing up the tube.
Be creative with it!
The final appearance of the scroll snake is this funny guy!
It can crawl all day long.
You can make a whole bunch of them in a variety of colors and patterns.
We love the way our snake turned out.
Have fun crafting.
And stay tuned for more animals and other crafts.
