Turkeys are a fun fall craft theme and they also make a great Thanksgiving craft for kids. No matter the occasion, your kids will go crazy over these big birds.
These toys are quick to make and kids love playing with them (also great for fine motor skills).
Aren’t they the coolest? We love their “weird” eyes. Cray, cray!
How to make a turkey clothespin
What you need:
Step by step instructions
Print out our template. You will find 4 sheets – both left-facing and right-facing puppets in both full color and black and white versions.
When you print the black and white version, the first thing you need to do is color the turkey image.
Next, cut out the outline of the turkey.
You will see a straight line running through the head and beak – cut along that line and the puppet will be cut into two pieces.
Apply glue to the clothespin.
Glue the two parts of the turkey to the clothespin.
Done!
Your fun turkey clothespin puppet is now complete (we assume you’ll want to make all 4 ;).
