How to make Christmas string crafts

What you need:

pencil
drag
glue
winding
construction paper (two brown colors)
Colorful buttons
double-sided yellow glitter cardstock or yellow construction paper

Step-by-step instructions

Start with a sheet of light brown paper and draw a wavy line to make the Christmas tree.

Trace the line with liquid glue.

It’s time to have fun with twine!

Have your child attach the twine to the glue string, doing it slowly and steadily.

Continue to the bottom.

Once they’re done, help them cut off the excess string.

Let’s add a star to the top!

Cut one from yellow cardstock.

It’s getting festive!

Fold a dark brown rectangle to make a chest.

And make another fold on the other side.

Apply glue to the flaps and bend them slightly before attaching the stem to the tree.
