We have a set of 4 puppets for you, including both a full color version and a black and white version that kids can color in themselves – and this is where kids can really add some magic to these puppets (highlighters, hint, hint).

How to make unicorn clothespins

What you need:

our printable templates
heavier paper
drag
glue
coloring supplies if you plan to use our black and white template

Step by step instructions

Print out the template, you can print in black and white, full color, or both. All unicorns come in left facing and right facing orientations.

It is recommended to use thicker paper/cardboard.

If you print the black and white version, have your child color the designs first (whereas with the full color version, your child can cut right out).

Unicorns give a lot of room for imagination and creativity when coloring.

Once you are happy with your design, it’s time to cut it out.

After cutting along the outline, cut along the mouth line.

Take a clothespin, wooden is best, and apply glue to the clip.

Be careful not to apply glue to the inside of the clothespin to avoid accidentally sticking the clip.

Glue the unicorn to the clothespin.

Done! Your unicorn clothespin puppet is ready to play.
