This craft is a favorite with kids because it is so colorful. If you like bright and fun crafts, this is for you!
What you need:
Paint the top of the paper plate blue.
You will want to paint the bottom of the paper plate green.
You can be generous with the paint!
For the paper roll, cut a piece of blue paper and glue it on.
Use glue to make sure the blue paper sticks.
Hold tight to make sure it doesn’t fall off!
On red paper, draw a semicircle, cut it out, form it into a funnel and stick it on top of the paper roll.
On cream colored paper, draw a mill wheel shape, cut it out and secure it to the paper roll with milton pins.
Start drawing the windmill part of the craft.
Cut out the windmill part.
Poke a small hole in the blue toilet paper tube.
Make a small incision in the windmill.
You will take a paper clip and thread it through the windmill.
You will continue to thread that hook through the blue toilet paper roll.
Make sure the toilet paper roll is clamped tightly.
Draw a door on the windmill.
Use a black marker to draw a window on the paper roll and tape the blender to the paper plate.
Take the red crescent piece you cut out earlier. Apply glue along the bottom.
Glue the semicircles to form a conical roof for the windmill.
You may need to apply glue around the edge of the circle to secure the roof.
Press firmly to ensure the red roof stays in place.
Cut longer strips of green paper.
Double.
Go ahead and cut to the end.
Cut the grass in half.
On red, yellow and orange paper, draw small flowers, cut them out, glue them to green strips, then glue these rows of flowers next to the mill.
Take the green paper strip you cut earlier.
Cut some grass.
Stick flowers on green grass.
You can move the colors around to create any pattern you want.
Now you will start gluing everything together.
Glue the entire windmill to the paper plate.
Use yellow paint to draw a little sun in the corner.
