Spring is here and the insects are finding their way outside to enjoy the sunshine. We started making spoon puppets and this spoon bee is just the first of many to come.
Once your child has a few of these adorable puppets, you’ll be a regular guest at their puppet shows.

What you need
How to make this bee craft
Color wooden spoon yellow. Let dry completely.
Once the paint is completely dry, draw on the face and lines with a black Sharpie (or other permanent marker).
Cut two wings from blue cardstock and glue them to the back of a wooden spoon (white school glue works great).
This fun craft is perfect for reading time.
This Little Bee book is perfect to pair with this craft (or vice versa) as it follows a little bee flying through the forest, meeting all sorts of different animals along the way (perfect for making even more fun puppets).
