Turtles are a great subject for summer crafts with your kids, but they can also be made year-round, especially if you have a pet turtle or are talking about different reptiles.
Bubble wrap is a great material to make them because its texture is perfect for making turtle shells.

Now, let’s make our bubble wrap turtle!
What you need:
Have children draw a circle on green cardboard. This can be done freehand or to make things easier, have your child draw a round object on paper (a small plate is also great).
Then, they will draw four legs – two legs on each side of the circle, a head on top, and a small tail on the bottom of the circle.
Children can cut out shapes with scissors.
It’s time to use bubble wrap! Use the same stencil to create a circle from the bubble wrap as you did for the turtle’s body.
Just apply glue to the circle and stick it on the bubble wrap circle.
We made the turtle shell green, your kids can use any color they like and paint the shell that color.
Have your child draw a small mouth with a black pen.
And stick two googly eyes on the turtle’s face.
Correct! The bubble wrap turtle craft is complete!
We love this summer craft project!
