These clothespin puppets are so much fun and these Chinese dragons can even play with our dinosaur clothespin puppets. They are a great little afternoon activity or a quick project to do with kids in the classroom.
They also make great party decorations, so they’re perfect if you’re hosting a small kids’ party.
Look at this guy in action!
And mouth open.
What you need:
Print out the Chinese New Year activity sheet. We highly recommend printing on cardstock or laminating the puppet parts (after you’ve cut them out).
If you want to glue the puppet parts, you should use a glue gun (adults only) or glue dots instead of regular school glue.
If you print the black and white version, have your child color the Chinese dragons first.
Apply glue to the clip part of the clothespin. If using wooden and paper clothespins, regular glue will work fine.
Glue the top part of the Chinese dragon body to the top part of the clothespin’s clip area and the body to the bottom part. Make sure they line up nicely.
With thousands of printable crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing tutorials, you’ll always have the resources you need at your fingertips. Perfect for parents and teachers alike!
