This cork rabbit craft is great if you’re looking for a great way to use some old corks!

You can use old corks and craft supplies to create something unique!

How to make a Cork rabbit craft

What you need:

  • 26 wine corks
  • hot glue
  • drag
  • silk ribbon
  • gray acrylic paint
  • glue
  • white pipe cleaners
  • paint brush
  • pencil
  • black marker
  • white chalk marker
  • colored paper (gray, pink, white and black)

Step-by-step instructions

Head

Cut the cork in half.

Paint all the corks and the two cork halves gray.

Add hot glue.

When dry, glue the two pieces together.

Make a row of four corks, then glue five corks on top.

Now glue four corks in the middle and two halves on the sides.

Continue gluing five corks, then four, and finally three on top.

Make sure you allow plenty of time for the cork to dry.

Face

Draw the bunny’s face on a piece of gray paper.

Nose

Draw the rabbit’s nose on pink paper.

Paste the pink nose on the gray part of the face.

The mouth

Draw a mouth on the bunny’s face.

Tooth

On white paper, cut a rectangle and cut it out.

Once cut, draw a mouth on the white rectangle. Those would be the teeth.

Cut out the part you outlined and glue the teeth to the bunny’s mouth.

Draw a line down the middle of the tooth so it looks like there are two of them.

You can also add small freckles on the bunny’s face.

Eyes

Draw two eyes on black paper and cut them out.

Draw white spots on the dark eyes.

Mother

Draw circles on pink paper; this will become our bunny’s blush.

Glue the nose and teeth onto the cork.

We’ll add the eyes. Apply glue to black elliptical eyes, on which you draw two small dots with white chalk.

Apply blush on both sides.

Eyelash

Now is a great opportunity to add a little detail to the bunny.

We will draw eyelashes with a black marker.

Ears

Draw two ears on gray paper and cut them out.

Draw the inside of the ear on pink paper.

Glue the pink ears inside the gray ears you cut out.

Glue the ears to the back of the rabbit’s head.

Mustache

Cut small pieces of white chenille and glue them on as mustaches.

They would make a fun addition to the bunny!

Bow

Tie a pink ribbon into a bow around your neck.

Cut the ribbon so the bunny looks complete.

Below is the final image of this cork rabbit craft!

We like how it turned out.

You can use more corks to make a whole family of rabbits.

Happy Easter!
