The cow bookmark has been on my “to do list” for a while because I knew the snout would look adorable and it is! The horns are also pretty unique, even more so because they look so happy to stick out when the book is closed.
So are you ready to fold your own cow corner bookmark? Follow our instructions and make one or a dozen.
How to fold an Origami cow corner
What you need
- white origami paper or regular paper cut into squares
- pink paper
- beige paper
- drag
- glue
- black marker

Or follow this step-by-step folding guide
We will illustrate the first steps with an orange sheet of paper because this way everything will be clearer.
Start by folding a sheet of origami paper in half (folding diagonally) to form a triangle.
Grab a layer of paper at the top of the triangle and fold it towards the bottom – a square will form.
Take one corner of the triangle and fold it towards the bottom middle. Unfold.
Do the same on the other side.
Now fold the same corners up to the top of the triangle.
Tuck the edges into the pocket.
Your corner bookmark base is now complete.
Now let’s turn this corner bookmark into a cow corner bookmark
Draw the spots with a black marker (or brown marker if you prefer brown and white cows).
Cut out a snout from pink paper. Draw nostrils.
Stick the snout on the bookmark.
Draw eyes or stick two moving eye patches.
Cut out horns from beige paper and glue them to the bookmark.
Your cow corner bookmark is ready!
