We love making houses for fairies, we made this fun fairy stone house and turned glass jars into fairy houses.

This great idea popped into our heads today while we watched Peter Pan, so we’re excited to show you how to make this house.

What you need:

  • many corks
  • carton
  • paperboard
  • round plate
  • hot glue
  • drag
  • pencil
  • manufacturing knife

Let’s start!

Materials used

Instructions step by step

Make a circle on the cardboard using a plate and pencil.

Step 1

This is your circle.

Step 1-1

Cut out the circle with scissors.

Step 2-1

Mark ¼ of the circle.

Step 3

Cut out ¼ of the circle with scissors.Step 4

Your shape will look like this.

Step 4-1

Apply some hot glue to one edge and form a cone.

Step 5

Draw a circle on cardboard using a cone and pencil…

Cut a circle out of cardboard.

Step 7

Cut circles from the cork using a cutter.

Step 8

And cut quite a few pieces.

The cork circle should look like this – not too flat and not too thick.

Start applying hot glue to the cone…

…and start adding cork circles around,…

Step 9-1

…starting from the bottom to the top.

Step 9-2

Seal the top with a cork circle.

Step 10

Cut a few corks in half with a cutter.

Step 11

Apply some hot glue to the cardboard circle and place the cork halves around it.

Step 12

Leave some space for the door.

Step 12-1

Apply some hot glue to the cork and attach the roof.

Step 13

Take three cork circles and add them as a rug in front of the cork house.

Step 14

All has been done!
