Disguise the Turk as a Knight

Our favorite aspect of the printable is that it includes two turkeys, one decorated with a knight’s regalia and another without. This allows the turkey to easily put on and take off his knight costume, providing an engaging experience for your child.

You want this one to look like a regular turkey, so brown, yellow and orange colors are a great choice.

Next, get the printable with just the turkey. This is where we go for disguises, so let the kids think about how they will color their costumes.

We colored the body gray to look like armor and the tail green to look like a bush in the background. It can also be colored to resemble a knight’s robe.

Have the kids cut out all the parts of the costume as well as the gray turkey.

Don’t forget the shield and sword, they make the disguise super convincing.

Take the paper with the picture of a normal-looking turkey. On that piece of paper there is a dotted line. Have the child fold the paper along that line.

Apply glue to the folded part, in the middle.
