We love creating printables for kids and we love it even more when the sole purpose of those printables is to have fun! That’s not to say they don’t have educational or developmental value as dramatic play is great for little minds.
And the dramatic games they play with these things! There are millions, or more accurately, countless stories and scenarios that children can create with their creative minds. And the more dramatic games they engage in, the more creative their minds become.
There are a lot of interesting characters in this print set, actually two sets.
One is full color and one is back and white. While we like both, we really hope your child will like the black and white one and color it in their own personal style.
And as always, we hope they add some glitter when they color them. Glitter makes everything prettier (like glitter, glitter dust can be a nightmare, we know).
Each of these finger puppets has a “designated” area for the fingers. Since fingers are not usually “uniform” in size, make the holes larger if needed. We want them to be comfortable on your child’s fingers.
Are you a teacher? This Easter craft template will make fun and inexpensive Easter treats for your students to play with.

Easter Finger Puppet
There are many beautiful Easter puppets available to you (you can buy them at the end of this article).
You will find 8 different puppets, both full color and black and white.
There is a regular bunny, a bunny in a decorated egg, a regular chick, a chick in an egg, a regular lamb, a lamb in an egg, a bunny in an Easter basket, and a chick in a basket.
Let’s do it!

- coloring materials if you decide to print a black and white version (markers, crayons, glitter…)

We hope you print them all because we think all the characters are super cute!
We printed on 120 gsm / 80 lb paper and they worked fine. Heavier paper would be even better to make them more durable.
You can also laminate them but make sure the edges of the finger holes are not sharp.
Printed the black and white version yet? Time to color!
We colored with markers (Tombow) but there’s really no limit to what your child can use.
As mentioned before, glitter makes everything more fun and sparkly!
Once you have finished coloring it is time to cut out your Easter finger doll.
Most children can cut along the outside contour but cutting holes with their fingers can be too difficult and requires adult assistance.
You can also use a small circular stapler – it saves you a lot of effort.
Almost done! We recommend “measuring” your child’s fingers to best fit the holes. Make them larger if needed.
Also, make sure the edges of the paper aren’t too sharp (no one likes paper cuts) – you can do this by pressing down on the edge of the paper with something – something like a marker pen.
Easter finger puppets are ready to bring to life the imagination of little ones!
Have fun watching the puppet show they have prepared for you!
