Bat making is super fun and most of the time all you need is a sheet of black paper or black paint and you’re halfway done. This is certainly the case, all you need is some paper, glue and scissors and your child will be creating their own little bat scene in no time.

What you need:
Start by folding the black paper (can be square or rectangular) from one end to the other creating valley and mountain folds.
Continue folding the paper into a paper organ or a paper fan.
While one folded piece of paper is cool, two (or more) are more interesting.
So repeat the process with another sheet of paper.
Once done, clip or fold them in half so you get a “bow” shape.
Tie it together with string, tape it with a strip of paper, or glue it together with a stapler.
Cut out a bat’s head, it can be simply round or it can have pointed ears. Cut triangular teeth out of white paper or paint them with a marker. Add googly eyes.
Glue the head onto the black paper folded in the shape of a bow.
Cut a large circle from yellow or white paper (for the moon) and glue it onto the darker paper.
Apply glue to the back of the bats (preferably white school glue) and stick them to the moon.
All has been done!
Your easy folded paper craft is complete.
