Halloween is one of the most fun holidays when it comes to making crafts, we have lots of great Halloween craft ideas for your kids to try. And when they’re done with their arts and crafts, we’ve got plenty of Halloween coloring pages for them, too.
Ready for this easy spider craft? Let’s go!
What you need:
Start by gluing 3 craft sticks together, overlapping each other. They should be slightly spread out.
Set the craft sticks aside while the glue sets.
Let’s be a spider. Cut a small oval (thumb size) from black paper for the body and a small circle for the head.
Glue them together. Also, glue two (or more) googly eyes on the spider’s head.
Cut off the legs (ideally 8 because spiders have 8 legs).
If the glue on the craft stick has dried, you can move on to making the spider web. Tie one end of the yarn around a craft stick, near the center.
Start weaving around the craft sticks, following a pattern or free-forming – as some spiders have neat and regular webs and some have them all in place.
Continue until you complete your website. Tie a string at the end and add a little glue to secure it.
Tip: you can add a little white school glue at each turn to secure the spider web strands.
Glue the spider onto the spider web.
All done, your Halloween spider web craft is complete and ready to hang.
With thousands of crafts, activities, worksheets, coloring pages, and drawing guides to print, you’ll always have the resources you need at hand. Perfect for both parents and teachers!
